XPT CHALLENGE: REACT IN LOVE

All of us deal with stress or adversity in our own way and the outcome of the situation can really depend on that specific reaction.  Unfortunately, the trying situation or interaction can lead eventually to a breakdown, lashing out, saying something unintended or worse.

Now more than ever as the holidays near and obligations and expectations are at an all-time high, we are reminded to be cognoscente of the way in which we react to stress or controversy.

This week’s challenge is handed down directly from Gabby herself, and reminds us that it is best to “react in love.”  No matter how stressful the situation or how angry someone might make you, you never know how powerful a hug can be, even when it may feel like the hardest thing to do.  Reacting in fear or anger is easy, reacting in love can be difficult.  But it is that love that will wind up righting the ship in the long run.

Check out Gabby’s thoughts on the power of a hug when reacting in love as well as some intriguing stats on the chemical reaction a prolonged hug can elicit to your body and mind.  And even better, share with us a story of how you reacted in love during a stressful time.  Comment below with your examples and go out and hug someone tight this week!
