Kelly Starrett
Coach Kelly Starrett founded San Francisco CrossFit with his wife and fellow athlete Juliet. Since opening its doors in 2005 as one of the first 50 CrossFit Affiliates, this athletic training center has become the prime coaching resource for reigning Olympians, national and world champions, tri-athletes, runners, and recreational athletes alike. Kelly’s focused coaching and warm personality brings his professional training as a strength coach and a doctor of physical therapy to life for brilliant coaching in a positive environment.
Juliet Starrett
Juliet Starrett founded San Francisco CrossFit in 2005 with her husband Kelly, with the vision of creating a fit and supportive community. A lifelong athlete, Juliet launched her competitive sports resume in high school when her rowing team won the Californian State Championship. From there, Juliet rowed competitively at UC Berkeley and went on to paddle for the US Women’s Whitewater Team from 1997-2000, winning two World Championships and five national titles.

Our Kauai Experiences are based in and around the north shore of Kauai, one of the most beautiful places on earth.
We do pool training, ice and heat, and breathing sessions where Laird does his own training.
It's a rare opportunity that Laird is sharing with XPT.
Our host hotel is the Westin which is along the ocean of the north shore and has incredible views of waterfalls and lush green nature.

All Levels Welcome

Think this may not be for you because you are not in shape like the people in the photos and videos? We hear that a lot, and want to reassure you that you do not have to be an athlete, a triathlete, cross-fitter etc. Our goal is to help each individual person find what will motivate them to continue an active healthy lifestyle once they leave. We all learn from each other and you get out of it what YOU want.

The XPT Experience in Kauai Includes:

✔ 3 Nights Lodging
Our host Hotel is the beautiful Westin in Princeville. Each participant gets 3 nights included in this package (the 6th, 7th, 8th) If you wish to get your own accomodations we will deduct $800 from your total price. If you want to come a day or two early and/or stay later we should be able to get you a great rate. Just let us know!
✔ Food
Lunch, Dinner, Hydration and Snacks are provided. You’ll enjoy delicious, healthy food that XPT members eat to fuel themselves in real life. Lunch and dinners are done family style, as a group. It’s a time to reflect on the day, and connect. Water and snacks are provided throughout.
✔ Transportation
Will be provided to and from all events
✔ Physical Activities
You will learn the basic fundamentals of XPT pool workouts, gym training, and high intensity workouts. We will do outdoor activities such as hiking and Stand Up Paddle boarding. You do not need to be an elite athlete to participate. The XPT Experience is designed for adults who are moderately fit or looking to get more fit, or for those athletes who are looking to go beyond and expand their endurance training. Each individual’s Experience is catered personally to your goals and skills.
✔ Breathing
You will learn the nuances and many benefits of our incredible XPT Performance Breathing™ techniques, for optimal fitness and everyday health.
✔ Recovery
Here at XPT we practice heat and ice therapy for post-workout recovery. The XPT Heat and Ice Program uses these tools to stimulate your system to promote muscle recovery, for hormone and metabolism balancing, to increase endurance, for easier acquisition of muscle mass, and for a general increased capacity for stress tolerance.
✔ Education
XPT is a lifestyle and life is a constant quest for knowledge and growth. During an XPT Experience, we cover topics on human performance, mind-body, daily goals, nutrition, sleep, and tools for managing stress. All of these things can be taken back home with you to integrate into your regular daily routine.

Everything we do at XPT has an element of fun (especially with Laird involved). XPT is centered around the notion of enjoying life.

The XPT Experience is an intimate group looking for a life-changing experience.

Space is Limited. At least 50% Deposit required upon registration.

REFUND POLICY – If you cannot attend the Experience and you made a 50% deposit you will be automatically entered into the next Experience or the Experience of your choice within 1 year. You must fill out our application and sign our waiver. You must be physically able and medically cleared to participate. If we do not reach our minimum number of participants we reserve the right to cancel and refund you in full.

Community Workout

We hold 2 sessions that are open to the community (free) on day 2 or 3 of each experience. Our high intensity workout led by Gabby and our performance breathing session led by Laird. The more energy the better for these 2 XPT offerings! Join us by emailing info@xptlife.com.

Do Laird, Gabby, and advisors join most activities?

Laird and Gabby, are with you the majority of each day.
We have guest advisors lead certain sessions but Gabby, Laird join these with you!

How good of shape do I have to be in?

You should be currently exercising on a weekly basis.
To get the most out of the experience you should try all workouts, and we do 2-3 workouts a day.

I am a little intimidated, should I be?

No. The one amazing thing about Laird and Gabby they immediately make everyone feel a part of the family.
You quickly learn just how passionate they are about people and their health.

I have a special diet, does this matter?

No, just tell us what foods you can and cannot eat. If necessary you can bring your own snacks.
