Growing up in a small beach town in Southern California, Chuck was drawn to the water at an early age. Competing in local surfing events, he transitioned to standup paddle surfing, which landed him a spot on the standup paddle surfing world tour. From there, Chuck found his passion in standup paddle racing and he has become a world-renowned paddle athlete. Chuck is a four-time finisher in the Molokai to Oahu Paddleboard World Championships; 2013 Battle of the Paddle Distance Race Champion; and 2014 and 2015 member of Team USA ISA Paddle Boarding World Championship, helping USA win a team silver and gold medal respectively. Chuck continues to travel the globe competing in elite events as one of the top standup paddle athletes. Chuck’s passion to push himself as a top level endurance athlete earned him a spot to compete in the 2015 Iron MANA World Tour in Bora Bora, finishing 2nd overall in the four-day multi-discipline swim, prone paddle, and standup paddle event.
As Chuck continues to evolve as an athlete and trainer, he seeks to help coach individuals with personalized training programs, organizing and teaching paddleboard clinics and private lessons. He has also been affiliated with directing kids paddle and surf academies through out his career.
