XPT ASSISTANT PERFORMANCE DIRECTOR | Mark is an expert in human performance, and has studied the science of sport and exercise since the age of 15. As a former professional rugby player with national honors and an Irish youth triathlete he has been exposed to the highest level of training from an early age, the catalyst into his journey of human performance. Mark has been coaching for 10 years with the last 5 years as a post-rehab specialist in Chicago, IL. Mark holds accreditation's through EXOS as a performance specialist, as a CFSC LvL 2 coach and through XPT.

PJ Nestler

XPT PERFORMANCE DIRECTOR | PJ is a human performance specialist with over a decade of experience preparing top athletes for competition, and a life mission to help athletes and coaches realize their true potential. Over the past 12 years, Coach PJ has trained dozens of athletes from the UFC, NFL, NHL and MLB. In his current role as Director of Performance for XPT, Coach PJ is responsible for researching, developing and teaching educational curriculum's around XPT's Breathe-Move-Recover philosophy. 

Dr. Andy Galpin

XPT Exercise Physiology Advisor Dr. Galpin holds a PhD in Human Bioenergetics. He is an Associate Professor, Founder and Director of the Biochemistry and Molecular Exercise Physiology Lab, and Director of the Center for Sport Performance at Cal State University Fullerton. Andy is also the author of the book Unplugged: Evolve From Technology To Upgrade Your Fitness, Performance, and Consciousness, as well as the host and creator of the Body of Knowledge Podcast. Andy has been a friend and consultant to XPT for years, regularly attending Experiences and leading expert guest lectures. Recently Andy was brought on to the XPT advisory board to provide a practical understanding of the chaotic mix of research findings regarding thermal stress (heat & and ice). You do not need to be a world-class athlete or in elite shape to benefit from the XPT Experience. Our guests come from many different backgrounds, ages and fitness levels. This experience is all about YOU and we will make sure you leave with dozens of new tools, information, and inspiration to help you live a performance driven life!

The Experience Includes:

Your Experience includes 3 nights at the Princeville Resort (Check-in on Dec 4th, checkout on the 7th). If you prefer to come early or stay later we can connect you with our host for rates and availability.
You are responsible for your flights and transportation to and from the Experience. XPT does provide transportation once the Experience begins until it ends.
You will learn the basic fundamentals of XPT pool workouts, gym training, and high intensity workouts. We will do outdoor activities such as hiking and Stand Up Paddle boarding. You do not need to be an elite athlete to participate. The XPT Experience is designed for adults who are moderately fit or looking to get more fit, or for those athletes who are looking to go beyond and expand their endurance training. Each individual’s Experience is catered personally to your goals and skills.
You will learn the nuances and many benefits of our incredible XPT Performance Breathing™ techniques, for optimal fitness and everyday health.
Here at XPT we practice heat and ice therapy for post-workout recovery. The XPT Heat and Ice Program uses these tools to stimulate your system to promote muscle recovery, for hormone and metabolism balancing, to increase endurance, for easier acquisition of muscle mass, and for a general increased capacity for stress tolerance.
XPT is a lifestyle and life is a constant quest for knowledge and growth. During an XPT Experience, we cover topics on human performance, mind-body, daily goals, nutrition, sleep, and tools for managing stress. All of these things can be taken back home with you to integrate into your regular daily routine.
Everything we do at XPT has an element of fun (especially with Laird involved). XPT is centered around the notion of enjoying life.
Meet new friends. At the XPT Experience we do everything as a group. You will always be around an XPT team member.
Lunch, Dinner, Hydration and Snacks are provided. You’ll enjoy delicious, healthy food that XPT members eat to fuel themselves in real life. Lunch and dinners are done family style, as a group. We follow a similar diet plan as paleo (lean meats, fish, vegetables, legumes, fruits, nuts etc. Vegetarian / Vegan requests are accommodated as best as possible. Water and snacks are provided throughout.

  •   Do you have a payment plan?
    For those who are ready to lock in their spot early for an XPT Experience, you may do so with a 50% down payment. However, please note that full payment is required 30 days prior to the selected Experience. If you wish to make partial payment now, please use the code ‘kauai’ at check-out. We also advise that you review our refund policy.
  •   Do you have a refund policy?
    Participants who make a deposit (total or half) are eligible for a full refund within 7 days of initial payment, as long as there are 30 days or more until the Experience begins. A refund will not be issued after 7 days of the marked payment date, or if there are 29 days or less until the start of the Experience. Full Payment is due 30 days prior to the Experience. If the customer misses the 7-day refund window, the customer has the opportunity to transfer their deposit (total of half) to a future XPT Experience occurring within 1 year, but will be assessed a $750 transfer fee. The customer is only eligible to transfer deposit to another Experience one (1) time. In all circumstances, transfer of deposit to another offered XPT Experience must be requested a minimum of 30 days before the Experience start date. No refunds or transfer can be accommodated if there are 30 days or less to the start of Experience.
